OfS student debrief: Consumer rights

For our latest debrief session, the Office for Students consumer protection team joined us to discuss students’ rights as consumers and universities’ responsibilities under consumer protection law.

OfS research shows that many students don’t think of themselves as ‘consumers’ – but they do expect their university to treat them fairly and deliver what is promised. Our debrief will explore the topic of consumer protection and how this applies to students.

At this event, the Office for Students consumer protection team will join us to discuss students’ rights as consumers and universities’ responsibilities under consumer protection law. We also answered some of your questions about consumer rights as students.
