Approach to OfS public grant funding - Call for evidence: Analysis of responses
The OfS is considering how we should use funding made available to us by government to benefit students, taxpayers and the higher education sector. We published an open call for evidence ‘Approach to OfS public grant funding’ at an early stage of our policy development. It sought views about how we could develop our funding approach in three broad areas:
- the activities we fund
- how we determine funding allocations
- the factors we prioritise in our decision-making.
We present here an independent analysis of the call for evidence responses, which we commissioned from Pye Tait Consulting.
Alongside the commissioned report, we are publishing our response. This brief OfS report sets out our consideration of the responses to the call for evidence and our next steps.
